**What you will be doing**:
This position acts as a main cook in the Far Side Grill. The Cook will assist the Kitchen Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the Grill and other assignments determined by the Operations Director.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Kitchen Supervisor and other Cook to prepare and cook orders
- Adheres to Food Safe standards and regulations
- Measures and prepares ingredients for menu items
- Understand and adhere to the organization's policies and procedures, cooking methods, standard portion sizes, kitchen rules, and quality standards
- Ensures that the kitchen is kept sanitized and orderly at all times
- Monitors the quality and consistency of all food served
- Set-up, rotate, and restock items as per established procedures
- Assists in the cleaning, washing, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen
- Provide support to the Kitchen Supervisor in completing monthly inventory report
- Assist in the front line as needed
- Performs additional responsibilities as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor or Operations Director at any time

- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen

**The details**:

- Hours: 11am - 5pm
- 30 hours a week
- Monday - Friday
- Some weekends MAY be required
- Ideal start date: ASAP
