What the day will look like

An Environmental Broker is responsible to work with a client to determine exposures relative to the business and/or site/jobsite that may result in an Environmental Liability both retrospectively and prospectively. Furthermore, an Environmental Broker should be able to articulate the exposure to the client and/or the insurance underwriter while developing risk transfer strategic options that meets the client’s needs. Finally, an Environmental Broker should be inquisitive, technical and collaborative in their approach to business and to teamwork in the development of comprehensive insurance solutions, educational material and marketing material.

Skills and experience that will lead to success Academic formation or prior work in a technical field that is complimentary to an area of Environmental Liability Insurance. Licensed Broker across all jurisdictions of Canada or the ability to secure all applicable broking licenses in Canada within a mutually agreeable timeframe.
