**Responsibilities for Estimator**:
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents
- Identify labor, material and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents
- Compute costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information trends
- Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data
- Build and maintain relationships internally and externally
**Requirements**:
- 5-7 years of experience in a technical/commercial role, preferably in the ICI -Structural Steel, Mining and Manufacturing or Fabrication industry
- Direct experience with steel processing, with a focus on metal fabrication and steel surface preparation
- AutoCAD, Tekla Structures and FabTrol skills are considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, hands on and deliver results within a team environment
- Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and
**Salary**:
- $55,000-$75,000- Depending on experience and skill level
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
