**Job Overview**: We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Health Care Aides. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in various healthcare settings. **Duties**: - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Provide companionship and emotional support to residents - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Support residents in medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals - Help with mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning residents - Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents - Provide care in settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, and home care environments **Qualifications**: - Experience or certification in caregiving or nursing assistant roles preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required in the role - Strong communication skills and empathy towards residents - Knowledge of proper hygiene and infection control practices - Ability to work effectively in a team environment Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of those in need.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Home care: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)

**Location**:

- Calgary, AB T2E 6V2 (preferred)
