Sorry I’ve Got Plants is a low-waste, vegan oriented brand providing quality food and products to customers looking to reduce their carbon footprint and enjoy discovering delicious foods while doing so.

Below are key tasks and responsibilities for Front of House staff.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Greets customers as they enter the store and is cheerful and helpful while interacting with customers
- Communicates clearly, quickly and politely with co-workers to ensure the correct order is served to customers
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately
- Uses Point of Sale system to process sales/orders timely and accurately
- Manage and assemble orders for in-store and delivery app customers
- Prepares food neatly, follows recipes accurately and in a timely manner
- Checks best before/expiry dates on products/ingredients and restocks items to maintain a sufficient supply during the shift following “first in, first out” product rotation
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the work area to promote a clean image throughout the shift
- Uses and completes Daily and Weekly checklists
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards and procedures
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by management

**Qualifications**:

- Cheerful and helpful attitude
- Works as a teammate to help where needed to get the task at hand completed
- Self motivated and able to carry out projects self-sufficiently
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Is resilient and bounces back quickly from setbacks and seeks out coaching from leaders and peers to improve
- Schedule flexibility that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to move quickly
- Able to lift 50lbs+
- Able to stand for long periods

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
