Welderfitter

We are seeking a Welder Fitter or Fitter Welder to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for joining metal pieces in a variety of scenarios, but you will primarily be welding steel pipes and other features.

**Welder Fitter Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review schematics to ensure you have the proper equipment and materials
- Set up your welding equipment on-site
- Heat the metal using your torch and shape the material according to the design
- Join the metal piece to the rest of the construction
- Follow all safety protocols and clean up your workspace upon completion

**Welder Fitter Requirements and Qualifications**
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- An AWS certificate (preferred)
- Welding experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Physical stamina

**Welding/Fitter Responsibilities**:

- Ability to operate a hand held welder and or a power welder.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and in all types of lighting.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations per OSHA 10-1.
- Perform basic math and problem solving.
- Perform work duties in a timely manner while maintaining a clean work area.
- Communicate with the Operations Manager or Supervisor on projects or issues that arise.
- Follow safety procedures and policies as defined in OSHA 10-1, Quality Systems and Safety Management Systems, Frameworks, Workholding Systems, Safety Procedures, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
