**About the Opportunity**:
St Martha's Regional Hospital is seeking a General Internist, with cardiology subspecialty preferred, to join the Internal Medicine group. SMRH is an acute care centere with approx. 90 inpatient beds, offers echocardiography, exercise stress testing with nuclear imaging and pharmacologic stress testing, pacemaker follow up, endoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy), bronchoscopy, PFTs, Sleep studies, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis (acute and chronic). Diagnostic imaging modalities include General imaging, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT scanning, and MRI. The ICU has its own portable ultrasound machine. There is a Cardiac Rehab Clinic managed by a Nurse Practitioner and physiotherapist in collaboration with Internal Medicine Physicians.
