Some of your main duties will include:

- Verifying accuracy of scrap tickets data in the computer software
- Processing and reconciling all scrap and related invoices for payment on due date.
- Preparing monthly summary reports including inventory and consumption in tons
- Preparing various monthly end reports such as accruals, outstanding accruals, consumption, price variation and supplier inventory. Natural gas and electricity and other related reports.
- Processing consumables and other invoices
- Communicating with supplier regarding invoices and payments
- Completing tax and WSIB remittance forms
- Entering and preparing natural gas and electricity invoices for payment.
- Opening and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Filing
- Maintaining Journals and preparing monthly accruals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Accounting collegial degree or relevant experience
- Advance accounting knowledge
- Excel and accounting software knowledge
- Experience in financial accounting and knowledge of cast accounting and financial statements
- Capable of preparing journal entries / knowledge of debit and credit
- 3 to 4 years experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $54,190.50-$61,423.75 per year

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 3 years (required)
