We are currently searching for a **Mechanical Integration Technician** to join our team in support of our custom equipment assembly and manufacturing operations in Oakville, ON.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Assemble custom robotics and materials handling equipment according to engineered drawings and manufacturers’ specifications:
**Minor component fabrication**: Fabrication of custom parts or small changes in Machine Shop using typical shop equipment and tools i.e. milling, saw cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding, etc.

**Sub-assembly production**: Building of sub-assemblies comprised of bearings, gears, pulleys, chains, belts, air cylinders, valves, motors, gear boxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation & electrical components, piping, etc.

**Major component integration**: Integration of major sub-assemblies comprised of robots, conveyors, wash & piping systems, hydraulic press cells, banding & wrapping equipment, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years’ + experience as an industrial mechanic or applicable trade(s)
- Experience in the integration of robotics & heavy industrial materials handling machinery
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Machinist abilities an asset
- Welding and fabrication abilities
- Electrical knowledge an asset
- Current scissor lift, lift truck, crane operation and working at heights experience an asset
- Excellent safety skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or individually with mínimal supervision

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

**Experience**:
