Our studio is located on West 8th/Granville, we share the facilities with a Physiotherapist clinic & a Pilates studio. The fitness studio contains free weights, bands, 2 multi functional Squat Racks with cable machines & hip thrust benches etc. We offer classes and one on one training sessions.

**Job description**

Your duties will include:

- Work one-on-one with clients rehabilitating injuries or seeking general fitness training.
- Implement, monitor and progress exercise and work simulation programs. Communicate with other members of interdisciplinary team regarding client treatment plan, progress, etc. (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists).
- Complete functional assessments
- Create and/or contribute to program design and exercise prescription in person but also online as needed.
- Lead clients through individualized exercise plans - accurately assessing, communicating, and providing hands-on treatment to facilitate goal attainment for the client.
- Promote & create content for the business social media.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving and sound clinical reasoning skills.
- Practical skills and strategies for working with clients with various medical conditions & injuries.
- Knowledge and understanding of exercise rehabilitation and evidence based interventions for physical rehabilitation.
- Confident in taking small group training classes (4 person max) and building up your own client base.
- **Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing demands and schedules.**

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics or equivalent degree.
- Personal training certification

We are looking for the following availability:
Monday - Thursday 6am-8am (small group training classes)

Saturday & Sunday - flexible hours but will have a mix of classes & private training sessions.

There will be opportunity for you to work other days too if you would like, but these are the days we currently need availability on. We aim to be flexible with schedules & we look to help each other out should a member of staff go away or need sessions covered.
