**About the Opportunity**:
Under the direction of the Director, Transformation & Sustainability and the project team, the Supply Technician is responsible for supporting the coordination of purchasing and acquisition of supplies, equipment, and instruments for the sites and departments that are undergoing changes driven by the healthy management of supplies project. Processes associated with inventory management are a key component of this role.

This position deals directly with project team, the purchasing department, clinicians and management. The incumbent requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, and decision making skills and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. The Supply Chain Technician must have strong problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and often stressful environment. They hold the responsibility of supporting processes to order and manage specialty medical /surgical items while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Their actions have a direct impact to patient care.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain Logistics, or one year of recent related experience required (including budgetary control and inventory management)
- Strong computer skills required (proficiency in Microsoft Office)
- Familiarity with Materials Management/SAP systems preferred
- Experience working in a clinical environment with supply management processes preferred
- Independent decision maker who is self directed and accountable for decisions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Must have the ability to work in an environment of constant change that is often stressful.
- Customer service and relationship focused a must
- Attention to detail
- Ability to trouble shoot emergency product requirements
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent, Full-time position, 75 hrs bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.97 - $23.83 Hourly
