**Role**:
Responsible for working with the Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning, and/or Purchasing departments in a dynamic production environment. Performs Quality Control inspections to ensure quality levels at various stages of production (visual and calibrated equipment).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure compliance of parts as per drawings and specifications under the guidelines of the Quality Assurance department procedures and work instructions.
- Accountable for the inspection reports and parts classification.
- Verify accuracy of documentation related to inspection duties.
- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections as scheduled.
- Identify and documents non-conformances.
- Collaborate with maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment.
- Identify and collaborate with improvement opportunities.
- CMM Programming and operation, if applicable
- Develops off-line CMM program using PC-DMIS software and CAD models
- Prepare and analyze CMM reports
- Demonstrate the values of safety, teamwork, service, integrity, accountability and ingenuity

**SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
- 3+ years previous experience providing Quality Control support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge of Metrology
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience in CMM inspection and programming (preferable)
- Experience in the use of precision tools and instruments, equipment and gauges to accomplish verification of conformance to technical data
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented, self motivated, organized and able to work in a deadline driven environment
- Must be able to obtain Controlled Goods Clearance
- Must have reliable transportation - NO access to public transit
