Stitcher Operator

Ø Minimum 5 years stitching experience

Ø The ability to set up and operate a 9 pocket ST 100 Heidelberg stitcher

Ø Set up pockets, stitcher heads and trimmer (small book format)

Ø Interpret docket information, instructions, layouts, etc.

Ø Read and understand mastered specification files, e-paperwork and proofs

Ø Interpret docket information, instructions, layouts, ect; accurately complete all paper work and ensure accurate traceability

Ø Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Customer Special Procedures (CSP’s)

Ø Adhere to and perform duties in an established Health/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment

Ø Adhere to production schedules; organize, plan and prioritize work

Ø Meet established production targets

Ø Monitor product quality

Ø Quality control checks periodically throughout production. Working in tandem with Quality Control

Ø Maintain equipment and work area, exceptional housekeeping, and safety standards/environment according to 5S standards program

Ø Assist in the general upkeep and maintenance of Bindery Equipment

Ø Maintains a safe work environment

Ø This position also offers and requires the ability to work overtime when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
