**_We are currently seeking part-time Banquet Servers to join Hillside Events at the Ledgeview Golf Club in Abbotsford_**:

- **_ This is a fixed-term opportunity ending September 30th, 2023, with the opportunity for an extension. Part-time and full-time hours available

**_
Responsibilities of a Banquet Server includes:_**
- Event preparation, set up, service of food and beverage clearing and clean up as per specifications in the event order
- Set up, stock, and tear down golf related functions on the golf course
- Engaging and creating connections with our guests
- Operate and maneuver beverage cart on the golf course according to proper cart and golf etiquette
- Cash and account handling
- Must have some bartending experience and/or knowledge
- Vacuuming and dusting of event space and back service areas
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage management team

**_
Working Conditions_**_:_
- Hours and shifts may vary. Must be able to work most evenings during the week and on weekends, holidays, black out days and peak season.
- This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. as well as standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Serving it Right Certification
- Previous customer service and hospitality event experience holding roles such as server or event server considered an asset
- Attention to detail, able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. as well as standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time
