Production Clerk

As we expand our warehouse and business model, we require an experienced PRODUCTION CLERKto support the Production Manager by providing clerical support for purchasing, work order review, production report review, material usage data input and other clerical duties.
- Under the direction of the Production Manager review pending work orders to ensure that there is enough inventory to support forecasts
- Review all production reports to confirm that the bill of materials is accurately recorded and stocked assemblies are entered into inventory
- Ensure that all new vendors are properly registered with AP (Accounts Payable) and that any non-standard terms are pre-approved by the President
- Upon direction of the Production Manager, creating purchase orders using our ERP system and place orders for all volume-use materials
- Manage our vendor warranty program, tracking parts requiring replacement, ensuring returns to vendors and tracking credit/replacement of parts
- Co-ordinate with the Materials Coordinator to identify minimum stock levels for base inventory and ensure fulfillment as required.
- Ability to work independently, with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of raw materials and production processes
- Able to show critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning
- Good organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work well and communicate with others
- Experience with both metric and imperial measurement systems
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP based systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
