**Quality Assurance Manager**- **UKG Pro WFM**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The **consultant is expected to start date is ASAP**and the **contract length is 1.5 years.**

**Project Context**

Northern Health is working on implementing a new Workforce Management (WFM) solution - UKG Pro WFM. Resources are required to support NH in the full lifecycle of planning, testing, including creation, execution and documentation of user stories and test cases. There will be a phased approach to implementation; all test planning, strategies, activities, and execution will remain aligned to this phased approach to ensure seamless deployment. The population and timing of the phased deployment approach is still under development, but it will include:

- Included employees (fall under a collective agreement)
- Excluded employees (non-contract)
- Four collective agreements
- Five employee statuses (full time, part time, casual, casual full-time nurse, casual part-time nurse)
- Additional roles requiring access to the system, including but not limited to: Managers, Staffing
- Services, Finance, Payroll, HR, etc.
- Integration to _**Andgo**_for: vacation planning, absence reporting and shift call outs
- Go Live date between **November 2025 and March 2026.**:

- Deployment of Positive Time Capture Capabilities.
- **Octane**_ will likely be used to document user stories, test cases, results and defects.

**Service Required**

Northern Health is seeking a **Quality Assurance Manager** to lead the implementation of the **UKG Pro WFM**solution. The QA Manager will support the full lifecycle of planning, testing, and documentation of user stories and test cases. The role requires aligning all test planning, strategies, activities, and execution with the phased deployment approach to ensure seamless implementation.

The team will be comprised of:

- Business Analyst
- QA Lead
- QA Testers

**Global Test Requirements**
- User Story development
- Requirement to test case traceability
- Test Plan development end to end across WFM, Payroll, and related processes/solutions, and covering all required test activity types:

- Includes: documents the objectives, needs, schedule, risks and assumptions, environment needs, test data needs etc. required to deliver the project
- Test plan oversight and management
- Test coverage audits (includes new, defects, completion, etc. by category)
- Test status reporting (dashboards & as requested)
- Support and guidance for NH test team
- Recommendation for sustainment/operational team structure, including roles and responsibilities
- Test closure report
- Test process development and tool configuration
- Support defect triage discussions**Detailed Testing**:

- Test case development
- Test data recommendations
- Test execution
- Document test results (e.g. Pass/Fail + details)
- Defect reporting, logging & resulting test case creation
- Defect testing
- Regression testing

**Consultant Qualifications**
- 5 years as Quality Assurance Manager in a large, preferably Healthcare environment.
- Direct Testing experience with the following are considered assets:

- Integration platforms
- SaaS implementation experience
- **UKG Pro WFM experience**:

- Health care experience required
- Required experience developing and executing test assessments for large enterprise initiatives
- General knowledge of HR information systems and operations required
- Experience writing executive friendly reports

Experience presenting to stakeholders and executives
