Hours: Part time, flexible
Compensation: $20 to $25 per hours based on experience and/or certification

The Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association (VTRA) is currently searching for a certified parttime instructor to join our dynamic team

VTRA provides therapeutic riding and equine-based programming to people with diverse abilities on southern Vancouver Island. We offer a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment and operate as a CanTRA-accredited teaching centre.

We are searching for a CanTRA, PATH or CHA instructor but can train and mentor an experienced riding instructor through to certification. Newly recruited instructors must be interested and willing to work towards obtaining certification.

Instructors must have or be able to complete First Aid training and a satisfactory Criminal
Record Check. Ideal applicants must be available 8-12 hours per week (hours may increase pending availability and completion of a successful probationary period).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saanichton, BC V8M 1W1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching Horseback Riding: 1 year (preferred)
