Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Diesel Engine Technician with machine shop experience to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in rebuilding diesel engines, ensuring they meet our rigorous operational and performance standards. This position demands a blend of mechanical aptitude, precision, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild diesel engines, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Use machine shop equipment to fabricate, modify, or repair engine components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and tests to guarantee engine performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and services performed.
- Work collaboratively with our engineering team on upgrade and modernization projects, providing machining expertise.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in diesel engine repair and machining.
- Proficient in operating machine shop equipment (e.g., lathes, milling machines, grinders).
- Technical diploma or certification in diesel engine repair/machining or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and precision.
- Eagerness for continual learning and professional development in diesel mechanics and machining.

**Salary**: $29.00-$40.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
