**Part-Time Revit Modeler** **Needed**

Situated in Port Coquitlam, BC, our shop is surrounded by hundreds of top-notch suppliers to streamline our logistics and greatly reduce our lead times. Our facility provides ample space to take on both large and small projects and is fully equipped to handle heavy lifting.
We are currently seeking a part-time Revit BIM Modeler with minimum 3 years of experience using Revit to join our dynamic team. The Revit modeler will work with the design and manufacturing team to place piping and structural assemblies into a BIM 360 collaborative plant model on an as-needed basis. Anticipated workload is 1-2 days per week to start with the potential to become a full-time role. SolidWorks and / or Autodesk Plant3D experience would also be an asset, but 3+ years of working Revit experience is required.

**_Responsibilities: _**
- Develop 3D process plant piping and equipment models in Revit / BIM Collaborate PRO cloud platform for drawing preparation, clash reporting and presentation aligned with the project LOD requirements and modeling standards
- Design and model modular pipe racks and equipment subframes to maximize shop fabrication of process piping systems and equipment
- Create full Revit component libraries from scratch using component GAs and/or step files
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings using Revit software
- Train other design personnel in the usage of Revit
- Draw and detail plans based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
- Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems
- Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule review and quality checking
- Coordination of Model interfaces with designers and engineers of other disciplines
- Ensure all Models, drawings and deliverables are checked to comply with project and company quality standards and BIM requirements
- Prepare the engineering drawings from the model that comprises of basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, sections etc.
- Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings
- Ensure Project Information Models (PIMs) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol
- Prepare BIM package submissions in accordance with project standards and requirements
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs
- Prepare models and reports for constructability analysis
- Coordinate work with the technical teams, including taking responsibility for timely completion of deliverables
**_Skills / Qualifications: _**
- Associate’s certificate or higher (preferred)
- 3+ years of recent, progressive Autodesk Revit 3D experience
- Experience using Revit with BIM Collaborate Pro cloud-based platform
- Experience with Solidworks and/or Autodesk Plant3D would be an asset
- Navisworks / clash detection experience would be an asset
- Experience designing sanitary piping would be an asset, particularly in the dairy and food & beverage industries
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Possess a robust common-sense approach to problem solving
- Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail with high standards for quality
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- Demonstrated self-starter with a high level of energy, motivation and tenacity
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
**_Job Types: _**
- Part-time, 1-2 days per week. Hours can be flexible (evenings / weekends ok)
- Hybrid or remote is ok

- Wage dependent on demonstrable experience and/or qualifications
