The East Village Animal Hospital is run as a non-profit, serving low income families, animal rescues / shelters, and Trap Neuter Return programs. All of our veterinary clinic team members remain positive and productive in a fast paced environment, and enjoy providing excellent customer service in a compassionate manner. Our receptionists are responsible for fostering and implementing the EVAH Mission in the capacity of the Receptionist / Administrative Assistant, and working with the EVAH team to contribute to the overall operations of the Clinic front office. As a veterinary receptionist you'll maintain complete and accurate records of clinic patients, maintain clinic booking schedules for all medical and surgical appointments (public and volume clients), liaise with rescue/volume partners under the direction of the hospital manager, and encourage/train Clinic volunteers as required, and ensure a clean and pleasant waiting area.

You must have availability to work 2-3 days per week Tuesday to Saturday, approx 8-9 hour shifts, between the hours of 9am-7pm. Part-time or Full-time may be available. Benefits (50% paid by employer 50% paid by employee) may be available after the initial three months of employment if minimum hours required by benefits provider are met.
