We are currently hiring for a **Customer Service Representative **in our **Toronto **office. In this role, you will provide clients with information regarding their school student health insurance plan. This will include general plan information as well as claim inquiries.
**We are looking for**:

- A brand ambassador that is passionate about customer service and elevating the overall customer experience
- Driven and self-motivated individual who want to have an impact and thrives with little supervision
- Individual who is extremely meticulous, cares about their work and has a positive and energetic attitude
- Must be available to work (40 hours) Monday to Friday on a permanent basis

As our **Customer Service Representative**, you will be responsible for the following:

- Respond to phone calls, online “live chat” inquiries and provide general plan information.
- Provide claims information
- Confirm specific prescription medication coverage
- Confirm client eligibility
- Advise and communicate how to use claim plan benefits
- Research required information using available resources
- Manage and resolve customer complaints
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Route calls to appropriate resources
- Follow up customer calls where necessary

**In order to be successful in this role you will need**:

- Good command of English both written and verbal
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Some experience in a call centre or customer service environment
- Good data entry and typing skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Superb problem solving skills
- Knowledge of group insurance is beneficial but not required**
