**Job description**

Stave Lake (Mission Area) Campsite Operators Wanted

Enjoy camping while keeping active, spending time outdoors, interacting with the public, and managing campground operations. Full time position through the summer months.

Positions available: May 10 - Sept 30, with flexibility as required

Requirements: You must have your own good condition RV for accommodations at the campsite and be prepared to stay 6 nights per week onsite.

Also a suitable vehicle for driving on forest service roads is required. Friendly, hardworking, honesty & good customer service skills required. Must be capable of handling situations with campers, and enforcing rules.

Having the ability to address problem campers with a calm, respectful approach is essential.

Duties Include:
**Provide the on-site management and maintenance of the campsite**
Registering overnight campers, revenue collections, checking in reservations
**Cleaning washrooms, campsites, litter, and garbage**
Rule compliance, public relations and public safety

Compensation includes a campsite (no hookups) and a commission based on fees collected, typically 50%, good monetary returns if campground is properly managed.

We are also looking for Workcampers - these positions are volunteer where you receive a campspot for the season (no hookups) in exchange for helping out as necessary, approximately 8 hours per week working while camping onsite for the season

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $2,000.00-$4,000.00 per month
