**Duties and Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Head draftsperson, you will provide technical blueprints, drawings, layouts, and services from information provided on a project-by-project basis. You will do this by:

- Creating plans and providing detailed visual guidelines for others to follow when quoting, building, constructing, and equipping with Envirotech products, specifically for swine and poultry equipment
- Working in conjunction with the Installer/Project Manager and Senior Electrician to ensure all aspects of the project are completed in the timeframes agreed upon
- Using AutoCAD drawing methods with layer management and sheet sets
- Working directly with a specific customer base of Envirotech to design customized projects using 2D Concept plans from their onsite library
- Conducting additional project management duties and coordination responsibilities as assigned by the Drafting Technician

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Draftsperson using 2D AutoCAD layouts for building designs
- Experience in commercial or residential construction design
- Post-secondary education in a drafting or related program equivalent experience
- Must be able to work comfortably using Autodesk
- Mechanical and plumbing experience is considered an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to self-initiate and self-manage
- Capacity to seamlessly multitask and juggle multiple responsibilities and jobs simultaneously
- Proven ability to adapt to changing demands, situations, schedules, and hours
- Demonstrated consistent work history and commitment level
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment
- Goal oriented and seek to continuously improve on ability to perform efficiently and effectively
- Insight on geotechnical aspects of construction is considered an asset

**Salary**: $18.70-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (required)
- drafting: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
