Bartender/server

**Job description**

Summer is approaching fast and The Pasta Factory ISO a fun and experienced server/bartender to join our crew who enjoys working in a team environment.

**We are looking for a server/bartender who have experience in**:

- POS systems
- With a passion for hospitality
- With a passion for creativity
- Weekend (Friday/Saturday and Sunday) availability is a must, with availability on Mondays being an additional asset
- Fast paced service environment
- Wine & Craft beer knowledge a must
- Supervising experience is a bonus

**Responsibilities**:

- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner that creates a positive guest experience evert time.
- Product knowledge is expected, with the ability to make suggestions that will enhance our clients visits.
- Ensure clients are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Basic math mandatory in order to preform a cash-out correctly
- Participation in helping to maintain the company's core values of respect and support is a must
- Minimum age of 19 (legal age to pour liquor) accompanied with valid SIR
- Managing client alcohol consumption in a responsible manner
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with hosts, cooks and other service staff.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
- Mentor Junior Servers and Support Staff
- Aid in design of seasonal cocktail features
- Work as a team within the department as well as providing your fellow service team with fast and accurate service
- Always maintain health standards within the department

Job Duties:

- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
- Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
- Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
- Other duties as requested

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
