Dog Bather/receptionist

We are seeking a Bather/Receptionist to join our team You will be responsible for assisting the groomer complete grooming services, assisting customers with booking/paying for appointments, as well as maintaining the standard of service at our facility.

Location is now 226 Speedvale Ave W, unit 9

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle general care tasks such as bathing and drying the animals to be groomed
- Assist in restraining animals if needed to help ensure a safe visit for humans and animals involved
- Assist groomer with any other basic grooming needs if asked
- Keep records of client visits as well as organize files
- Answer phone calls & client questions
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Assist customers with scheduling appointments
- Collect payment for services

Qualifications:

- Min 1 year experience in the pet grooming industry
- Passion to help animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as take instruction
- Friendly/Trustworthy/Reliable
- Ability to talk to customers in a professional and approachable manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
