Summary:
As a Domestic Cleaner with Bloomsdale, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in and around the GTA or Durham Region. We are searching for a diligent cleaner with a positive attitude, great stamina and dedication to provide desired results and respect for the home and its inhabitants.

Responsibilities of these positions may include but are not limited to:

- Dusting, mopping, sweeping and washing; floors, toilets, showers, tubs, driveways, windows, and counters.
- Vacuuming carpets, upholstery, and any other dusty surfaces.
- Making Beds and fluffing pillows.
- Sanitizing all relevant surfaces.
- Cleaning all surfaces in living rooms, kitchen, and bathroom.
- Carefully handling furniture and appliances.
- Carefully using cleaning chemicals for specific areas.
- Adhere to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of Bloomsdale Health Services.
- Work within the Ethical Practice Framework of Bloomsdale Health Services.
- Clean, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment before and after use.

Domestic Cleaner Requirements:

- High School Diploma or similar
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle is a plus.
- Fully Vaccinated (COVID-19).
- Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning chemicals.
- Availability to work days OR evenings including weekends.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty (25) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.

Status: On Call/Contract

All workers must abide by COVID-19 safety regulations.
