Cardiac Sonographer

Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) in Vernon, BC is seeking a Permanent Full Time Cardiac Sonographer to join their dynamic Medical Imaging team.

**What Will You Work On?**
The Medical Imaging Department consists of 4 general ultrasound rooms and 3 echo rooms. Services at VJH include: Screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine. General sonographers at VJH work on Philips and Canon equipment while Cardiac sonographers work on GE equipment.

- Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
- Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular).
- Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
