Maint/eng Assoc Coordinator

Overview:
**The Role**:
The position of Maintenance and Production Buyer greatly contributes to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada This role will be responsible for placing all purchase orders for operating supply items and maintenance components as well as negotiating contracts for the supply of services required by our Lethbridge and Taber facilities.

**Responsibilities**:
**What you’ll be working on**:

- Obtain quotes and process order for supply items and sanitation chemicals
- Determine and negotiate contact terms and prices with suppliers
- Ensure suppliers are paid timely and accurately
- Solicit bids and research new suppliers
- Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve issues, discrepancies, and other non-conformances
- Develop relevant business relationships with suppliers to maintain ongoing collaboration with them
- Various data entries as required
- Any other mandates or special projects

Qualifications:
**Who’s a good fit for the team**:

- Post-Secondary Education in procurement or business administration or equivalent experience
- Capability to manage several tasks at the same time and respect timelines
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong experience with computer software programs
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize large workload
- Aptitude for autonomy and problem solving
