Augusta Green Sprinklers is hiring for the position of irrigation technician

This position is an entrance position into company. Experience is preferred but not required, we will provide training as required and compensation will be based on experience and work ethic.

The irrigation technician will aid the company's mission of being the best customer service provider in our industry by installing high quality systems for our customers in a friendly, professional, and ethical manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- To install high quality sprinkler and lighting systems for customers in a professional, friendly and ethical manner that exceeds their expectations.
- Digging trenches and installing pipes and lines.
- Installing heads, valves, fittings, and lights.
- Operating machines.
- Wiring valves, lights, and controllers.
- Adjusting heads and setting up systems.
- Programming timers as required.
- Cleaning up sites.
- Communicating with customer job status and explaining operations at the end of the job to their satisfaction.
- Communication with the office regarding job status.
- Perform daily vehicle checks. Ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Assist service crews as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Experience preferred but not required, this is an entrance position into company.
- Customer service oriented - be on time, be professional, be polite.
- Mechanically inclined (plumbing/pipe-fitting/electrical)
- Good communication skills with attention to detail.
- Positive Attitude.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Ability to work in demanding weather conditions (working outside in heat, cold, inclement weather)
- Physically demanding - A lot of walking and lifting is involved. Extended periods of digging may be required.
- Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
