Taproom Bartender

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our front of house team for the upcoming summer season. Do you like craft cider/wine/beer? Do you enjoy working with people and serving up a good time? We’d love to hear from you and chat more about the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Providing friendly and responsible service within the taproom and patio
- Assisting customers with retail purchases
- Handling opening and closing procedures
- Keeping the taproom area clean and stocked
- Processing online orders
- Assisting with special events, tastings and tours
- Setting the vibe in the taproom - occasionally creating social media content, arranging table decor, curating playlists etc.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Smart Serve certification
- Solid communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail, proactive, motivated and professional
- Fundamental cider/wine knowledge and an eagerness to learn
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 kg

ABOUT THE POSITION:

- 10-35 hours per week (part-time and full-time opportunities available)
- $17.00 per hour + tips
- Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends required
- Fun, fast-paced environment in beautiful downtown Goderich
- Part-time, seasonal position with potential to evolve into full-time/permanent position
- Opportunity to wear many hats and assist with all aspects of the cidery including production, packaging, sales and marketing

Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
