In keeping up with clients’ demands, Sefina Industries is looking for a motivated individual to fill a junior position in the estimating department. They will work under the supervision of the Vice President of Estimating and alongside a dynamic estimating team. Join a fast-paced energetic environment, with a great opportunity for advancement

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Download and organize drawings, specifications and all contractual documents.
- Review client’s scope requirements.
- Accurately and efficiently prepare takeoffs from the Architectural and Interior Design drawings.
- Contact suppliers / manufacturers to request budget pricing on specialty items.
- Prepare RFIs for architects, designers, and contractors on any unclear scope or takeoff items
- Organize and finalize bid documents.
- Once project is awarded prepare complete documents for transfer to the Project Management Team.
- Prepare Change Order Requests or supplemental pricing for the Project Managers.

**Qualifications**
- Ability to read and interpret Architectural/Interior Design Drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- High work ethic and self motivation
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be bilingual (English, French)
- Experience in architectural millwork would be an asset

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saint-Laurent, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
