Renert School is one of Alberta's leading private schools, and is located in Royal Oak, NW Calgary. We have a small but active library, and a dedicated community of readers.

Are you passionate about books, learning, and inspiring students to explore their world through reading? We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and enthusiastic librarian to join our school community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain the school library collection.
- Assist students in selecting books that match their interests and reading levels.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom instruction.
- Plan and lead library activities that promote literacy and learning.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming library environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Support English teachers in maintaining and distributing classroom sets.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, or related (Master’s degree preferred).
- Previous experience in a school or public library setting.
- Strong knowledge of children’s literature, young adult literature, and digital media.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with students and getting them excited about reading.
- Tech-savvy with an understanding and ease in using of library management systems and digital resources.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.25-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 28 per week
