**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Lead Boat Rental Attendants through daily tasks
- Greet guests,respond to customer inquiries and address concerns, escalating when required
- Instruct visitors on proper use of boats & equipment and enforce the importance of boating and water safety
- Complete visual inspection of boats and other equipment and ensure that all issued equipment meets proper safety protocols
- Ensure that all documentation is completed and filed according to Boat Rental protocols
- Follow proper reservation check-in/out procedures
- Prepare and receive returned rental equipment
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Qualifications**:

- Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of employment
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and have confidence to make quick decisions
- Previous leadership experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays; as well as shifts with varying hours, depending on factors such as weather and visitation levels
- Experience with non-motorized watercraft (canoes, paddleboats, kayaks) is an asset
- Experience in point-of-sale procedures is an asset
- Knowledge of conservation areas and recreational programming is an asset
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G2”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. _*Abstract completed by Conservation Halton_.
