We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented CNC Machinist who will be responsible for setting-up and operating of CNC Mill to cut various sizes of metal work components according to customer specifications and requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and Interpret drawings or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planing, drilling, precision grinding and other operations
- Able to take work offset on the machine
- Prepare your tools for CNC Machine as per tool list provided by the programmer
- Select and change tools on CNC machine as needed
- Able to edit existing programs at machine
- Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met
- Inspect and prepare raw material if required
- Inspect parts, materials and verify dimensions using standard instruments (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Ensure all quality control measures are being followed at all the times
- Maintain cleanliness of machine and working area
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on the machine
- Use equipment safely and responsibility to ensure safety of everyone
- Works in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Regulations and proper use of PPE

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma as a CNC Machinist or equivalent
- Work experience as a CNC Machinist 1 year or more
- Experience with tight tolerances parts (0.0005”)
- Experience with one-off, custom precision parts
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Familiar with G & M Codes
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM
- Experience with surface grinding is an asset
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills

**Own Tools/Equipment**:

- Steel Toe Safety Shoes

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
