Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee our banquet operations. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of banquets and events, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

**Duties**:

- Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure all details are accurately communicated to the team
- Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring proper arrangement of tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create customized menus and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Monitor event timelines to ensure smooth execution and resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensures follow through on Serving it Right and Food Safe procedures.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, coordinating with vendors for timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all banquet operations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in banquet or event management within a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and beverage service standards
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during events
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Serving It Right Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
