We are looking for a **Self Erecting Crane Operator** who will be responsible for assisting with construction of 1 - 2 of our multi-family apartment-style buildings. These buildings are typically 10 level concrete tower or 4 - 6 floors, wood frame. **Job Summary**:
You are a Red Seal certified Crane Operator with experience to support on multifamily construction projects. You will be an integral part of the Eagle Crest team. This is a long term construction project that promises several other projects after this one for solid performers. This project is conveniently located right outside downtown Calgary.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to operate self errecting crane
- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections, completes Hazard Assessments, and logs and reports any maintenance concerns with equipment
- Must have the ability to communicate well and work as part of a team
- Fill out and understand an equipment logbook
- Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
- Ensures that work is completed during regular hours
- Willingness to learn and be adaptable

**Requirements**:

- Preferred 5 years+ experience
- Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
- Possess a Red Seal certification a benefit with a recognized provincial training authority

**Work Conditions**:

- Project is located in the Victoria, BC
- Job commences January 2023; this is a role with long term potential

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-01-30
