Sauna Host

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Friday - Sunday sauna host for both our Shipyards location, with the potential to be trained for our Secret location as well.
We are in the business of hot saunas, cold tubs, and making people forget about their troubles for 2hrs of the day.

You will become a sauna aficionado, a cold tub chiller, a space curator, and a hot-cold educator.

We have opened up a first of its kind sauna and cold bath facility located at the Shipyards in North Vancouver, and also have our original rustic outdoor style facility close to Park and Tilford. Both locations are equipped with a sauna, 4x plunge units, a giant ice machine, self-serve towels, robes, and flops, and a drink bar offering unlimited kombucha, tea and coffee.

We are looking for a friendly and attentive individual to host sessions with the community, ensuring that all our offerings are delivered in abundance, and the space is kept organized, clean, and welcoming.

Shipyards job roles are more front desk and customer service related, while Secret Spa job roles are more related to wood keeping, ice dumping, and managing an intimate space.

Generally, tasks will include turning on the sauna / managing the sauna fire, preparing the cold tubs, cleaning cold tub filters, vacuuming/skimming cold tub debris, monitoring cold tub water cleanliness, putting kegs of kombucha on-tap, igniting propane appliances, giving orientation, guest check-in, reception desk services, fulfilling point of sale, managing laundry, space organization, managing transitions, tending our plants, and troubleshooting potential issues on the fly.

Hours available: Friday-Sunday evenings with potential for weekday shifts occasionally.
- Bonus: free sauna use & kombucha if able / available, or before / after shifts_

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
