**Part Time Remote Term Position**

- Experience with online courses delivered through UR Courses (University of Regina or affiliated College) is required in a non-student role such as a teaching assistant, marker, instructional designer etc.

**Key Duties**:

- Check facts, dates and other content items (text and media) for accuracy.
- Proof-read for grammar and readability.
- Assist in content research and assist in writing, and rewriting.

**Key Competencies**:

- Must be proficient in navigating the UR Courses LMS using a computer.
- Possess above excellent attention to details and facts.
- Ability to cope with tedium and repetitive tasks.
- Fluency in English required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a well-rounded knowledge of Indigenous health and health history in Canada, Indigenous social and governance issues.
- Must respect Indigenous world views and follow Indigenous research methods
- Possess an interest in post-secondary education delivery.
- Must have experience in online course delivery (non-student role such as a teaching assistant, marker, instructional designer etc.)
- Ability to work independently.
- Competency in word-processing, computer and UR Courses functions
- Demonstrated research, analytical, organizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize and work well in a high-pressure, multi-task environment and as part of a team, with the ability to shift between and among different initiatives.
- Possess persistence and ability to fact-find.
- Ability to communicate with multiple team members and outside contractors.
- Ability to work within, and accurately update established templates and process documents.

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed or be enrolled in an Indigenous Health Studies or Humanities degree program or equivalent (i.e., Indigenous Studies, Social Work, Indigenous Communication Arts).

**Reporting**:

- The INHS 100 Research Assistant reports to the INHS 100 Project Manager and the INHS Program Coordinator on course development.
