**QUALITY ASSURANCE FACILITATOR**

**SCOPE OF JOB**:
The Quality Assurance Facilitator, under the supervision of the Manager of Quality Assurance, Organizational Effectiveness and Privacy, is responsible for coordinating and facilitating improvement initiatives including program development, system improvement, outcome evaluation, service audits, training and achievement of agency vision, mission, service principles, strategic planning and agency operational plan. This position is outside of the Bargaining Unit.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Applicants must have:

- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems;
- 2-3 years related quality assurance experience in a non-profit social service setting preferred;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Have advanced Excel skills and/or experience using SPSS;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy of information;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain up-to-date records;
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Creativity in developing and formatting documentation and forms;
- Valid G Ontario driver’s license in good standing and available vehicle; and
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination (minimum 2 doses).

Preference will be given to applicants with:

- Experience working with the Child Protection Information Network (CPIN), IBM Cognos and Eforms;
- Previous experience in the Child Welfare sector;
- Knowledge, experience, and understanding of the culture, history and current issues/oppression experienced by First Nations, Inuit and Métis; those of African Canadian/Black heritage; and other racially marginalized persons in our community.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The Quality Assurance Facilitator provides support to ensure that accurate and timely statistical data information is prepared and distributed to relevant personnel;
- The incumbent identifies, prepares and assists with the implementation of the agency’s quality assurance and quality improvement systems to ensure compliance with Ministry Standards and best service practices;
- The incumbent has the ability to integrate their knowledge and understanding of the Child Protection Information Network (CPIN), child welfare policy, legislation and practice into the development of specific quality assurance and outcome measurement initiatives (quality and quantitative), data analysis and reports. They are able to convert a wide range of research/evaluation results (including statistical data), into information to support planning and decision-making to improve services to families;
- Develops internal data tracking systems and completes and/or maintains reports, statistics and/or correspondence in accordance with agency policies, procedures and guidelines along with Ministry and legislated regulations and requirements;
- Assists in compiling and tracking results from quality assurance and improvement processes;
- Supports the agency in the implementation and sustainment of Signs of Safety© Practice and accompanying Meaningful Measures support and evaluation of practice;
- Supports the agency to fulfill it’s obligations related to PART X requirements, including, but not limited to: Supporting containment, notification and remediation processes related to privacy breaches and statistical tracking for submission to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (IPC);
- Supports the agency’s use of Alternative Dispute Resolution and statistical tracking for submission to service leaders;
- Supports the development and revision of agency policies, procedures and pamphlets;
- Supports staff with Standards Quality Improvement and ensures accuracy of documentation and reports regarding Serious Occurrence submission through creating up to date guides and providing updates and training as required;
- Participates in research and evaluation activities as required, including but not limited to: Research, evaluation planning, data collection and data analysis;
- Updates and maintains user guides for documentation in CPIN to support Standards Quality Improvement;
- Advises staff of errors or omissions in CPIN information forms and ensures that corrected information is entered as needed;
