Client Development Support Coordinator

Reporting to the Director, Client & Business Development, the Client Development Support Coordinator will assist with the implementation of practice-specific and firm-wide business development initiatives, as well as provide ongoing administrative support to a small team of Client Development Directors based in Toronto.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Assists the Client Development Director/designated BD Leads with the implementation of a variety of strategic business development and marketing initiatives for a portfolio of practice areas including Corporate, Emerging and High Growth Companies, Tax and Financial Services. This includes, but is not limited to, providing tactical support on client events, sponsorships and other marketing efforts, supporting the development of directory submissions, the production of lawyer and client-facing materials, responsibility for regular and ad hoc CRM-related tasks, and coordinating BD follow up activities.
- Supports the firm's lateral partner hire onboarding process, quarterbacking Client Development & Marketing support to new lawyers joining Osler, including tasks related to marketing and communications, CRM and scheduling onboarding activities.
- Provides administrative support to the firm's strategic client account program.
- Provides administrative and business development support for specific annual initiatives, including the IBA Annual Conference.
- Provides administrative support to the Toronto-based Client Development Directors including scheduling and meeting bookings, preparing expense reports, processing invoice payments, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
**Position Requirements**
- Education and Experience_
The position requires a university or college degree, and a minimum of three to five years of experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably at a professional services firm or a law firm. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
- Knowledge and Skills_
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Self-starter with a strong ability to work independently and take initiatives
- Highly motivated to handle a fast-paced and fluid environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Extremely well organized with superb attention to detail, strong time management, disciplined execution and follow-through skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly, both written and verbal, to a diverse audience

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work partially in the office.
