KORAA: KW's Women's Sports League

KORAA was founded **for women, by women**. At KORAA the goal is to bridge the gaps of women participating in sports and empower women to feel amazing through sport. We hope to facilitate programs that will encourage sportsmanship, competition, and companionship.

KORAA is a sports league catered to provided opportunities in sports to and for women.

**Responsibilities**:

- Make quick decisions.
- Uphold the laws of the game and remain impartial.
- Keep teams and fans informed of any interruptions in play.
- Be able to communicate in a loud environment.
- Know the rules of various sports (e.g. learn how to referee different sports).
- Experience with public speaking.
- Experience with managing a group.
- Work well under pressure.
- Write accurately and quickly.
- Other responsibilities may arise on the job

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to attend all games from 6-8pm on Wednesday's starting May 17th, 2023 for 14 weeks until August 16th, 2023.
- Experience playing soccer in a league
- Previous experience in refereeing casual or professional soccer games
- Although certifications are not required, we will prioritize those with a soccer referee certificate
- Must be at least 18 years of age (can be younger with a valid referee certificate)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 14 weeks
Part-time hours: 2 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
