**You will be working with Individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities in their home and the community. You will assist and teach daily living skills, plan and execute activities, and help increase community involvement.**

**Specific Skills and Training Required**:

- Flexibility
- Creative and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Build trust and positive relationships with Individuals
- Experience with behaviors, follow Individual's programs as written, and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) is a MUST; Diploma in related field preferred.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle

**Duties**:

- Personal care
- Assist with cleaning and cooking. Role model and encourage independence
- Drive Individuals to and from appointments and activities
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports
- Administer medications, ensure Individuals' safety
- Take Individuals to the park, go on walks, and attend events.
- Organize and facilitate activities at home and with peers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 11-24 per week

**Salary**: From $17.86 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector (preferred)
