**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Operate and monitor smokehouses including selecting programs, verifying performance, making program adjustments, and responding to alerts.
- Load and unload product into the designated smokehouses.
- Complete all required CCP checks on product and document appropriately.
- Clean generators, smokehouse, and hallways as scheduled.
- Monitor and replenish woodchips into generators when required.
- Troubleshoot smokehouses and complete minor adjustments.
- Responsible for maintaining food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Read, write, and communicate (English)
- Basic mathematical skills and computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and a team member
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Must have good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
