**Job Summary**:

- Precise ParkLink is seeking Patrol Officers to ensure that all dashboard tickets, reservations and parking permits are valid at contracted private properties throughout the City of Hamilton and Niagara and St. Catharines_
- This position will be overseen by the Area Manager_

**Location**:
1200 Fourth Ave St. Catharines, ON L2S 0A9

**Employment**:
Full Time

**Hours**:
Saturday 8am-2pm, Sunday 8 hour shift (as per live events), Monday 2pm-10pm

**Compensation**:
Hourly: $18

**Qualifications**:

- _General knowledge of computers/ cellular devices_
- _Valid G license with clean drivers abstract, and ability to provide abstract at time of hire_
- _Previous experience in parking enforcement or security background would be considered a strong asset_
- _Criminal check required prior to hire (backcheck completed by Precise Parklink)_

- _Ability to work and complete tasks with mínimal supervision as this is an independent, on the road job; must also strive to work in team settings towards a common purpose_
- _Ability to de-escalate situations should they arise; must be well

- _Must be polite with professional attitude_
- _Positive, friendly, enthusiastic and personable_
- _Must be punctual and self disciplined_
- _Strong communication skills_
- _Bilingualism is a strong asset_

**Job Responsibilities / Duties**:

- _Review and understand daily scheduled routes prior to dispatching for shift_
- _Respond directly to client requests for enforcement in a swift and timely manner, communicate with client to confirm receipt and debrief once call has been attended to_
- _Inspect vehicle & required devices prior to departing for shift; report any issues to manager immediately_
- _Follow procedures regarding log sheets/ recording site visits_
- _Carefully check expiration date/ time of parking receipts displayed on dashboards, as well as approved hangtags where applicable_
- _Run plates through enforcement software at applicable sites to confirm registration_
- _Ensure accuracy in issuing infractions (correct information on ticket)_
- _Ensure devices are returned as they were taken, and placed back on charging units for next shifts_
- _Arranging towing of vehicles where applicable, under By-Law regulations_
- _Ability to work outdoors, within a sheltered garage environment_
- _Mandatory health & safety training required to be completed upon hire_
- _Litter pick up and general maintenance of parking equipment_
- _Other duties as assigned_
