**Position Description**

**Position Responsibilities**
- Sorting and seperating recyclables for bailing.
- Operate skid steers and forklifts with precision and safety to move materials, load and unload trailers, and assist in various tasks.
- Perform general yard maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, and ensuring a tidy work environment.
- Engage in grass cutting and landscaping duties to maintain the appearance and safety of the outdoor areas.
- Take on snow removal responsibilities during winter months, including clearing walkways, entrances, and parking lots.
- Efficiently and safely bale cardboard materials for recycling, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to load trailers and trucks with materials for transportation.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed, ensuring safe and proper functioning.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, maintaining a commitment to a safe work environment.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization
- Other duties and projects may be assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience operating skid steers and forklifts is strongly preferred.
- Valid skid steer and forklift operator's tickets or certifications are advantageous.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently, demonstrating a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial.
- Safety-conscious mindset and a willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Certified in First Aid would be strongly preffered
