**The Opportunity**: The FSQA Team plays a key role as to production. We lead by example, through our presence on the manufacturing facility floor. As a team, we communicate the GMPs and food safety requirements and practices to the entire facility. We work together with the manufacturing team to produce safe food safely. You thrive in an environment that is fast paced and have a keen sense for continuous improvement. Your approach is collaborative and offer a forum where everyone feels comfortable to bring forward new ideas.

**Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life**:

- Perform a key role in the HACCP Food Safety Program
- Lead the Monthly HACCP Team meetings
- Prepare documentation for CFIA tasks.
- Perform HACCP Reassessment and Internal Audit activities
- Active participant and provider of information in 3rd Party audits
- Perform HACCP Validation activities
- Verify HACCP/QA documentation records (paper and electronic)
- Conduct HACCP Training
- Participate in HACCP and Food Safety continuous improvement projects
- Conduct employee on-site verification of HACCP designated trained employees
- Provide Food Safety training, orientation, and guidance to plant and salaried employees, and visitors.
- Monitor for compliance to GMPs through on-floor inspections and audits.
- Support other roles in FSQA team as required
- Create, design, implement written programs under the leadership of FSQA Supervisor
- Actively involved in day to day tasks to support operations
- Support other roles in FSQA team as required

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Post-Secondary education
- 3 to 5 years of comparable work experience within a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of FSEP, SFCA, BRCGS
- Personable demeanor with a knack for communication
- Progressive leader
- Team Player
- System savvy and very comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools
