**JOB SUMMARY**
The COVID-19 Screener will provide COVID-19 screening and ask for Proof of Vaccination for all staff, constituents, students and visitors that enter Neeginan Centre. In addition, the incumbent will provide host and support services to guests, staff, and clients/students entering or exiting the building. This includes greeting guests, directing them to locations within the building, and providing information about services within the building and over-all customer support.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set up the screening table at the beginning of the day.
- Ensure anyone entering the building is fully immunized against COVID-19.
- Greet each person as they enter the building and have them sanitize their hands before proceeding to the screening table.
- Ask each person the required COVID-19 screening questions and take their temperature with a laser thermometer.
- Connect visitors with the appropriate program/person.
- Work closely with security and other Neeginan Centre staff as well as with staff from AHWC, CAHRD, and Aboriginal Council.
- Store screening table at the end of the day.
- Sanitization of high use areas.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of a high school diploma and/or other relevant training or experience.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be able to provide proof of vaccination status.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and with little supervision.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position and tasks including bending, turning, lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time.
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (mask, gloves, gown).
- Proven good attendance record with capabilities of maintaining this same standard.
- Client centred combined with excellent customer service abilities.
