We are seeking a skilled and versatile handyman to join our team at Nanaimo Handyman. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of home repair, maintenance, and improvement services to our valued clients in Nanaimo and the surrounding areas. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform various types of repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and general handyman duties.
- Assess and troubleshoot problems reported by clients, and provide effective solutions to address their specific needs.
- Ensure the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project for billing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers as necessary to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the handyman field to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role, with a strong background in home repairs and maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in various repair and maintenance projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think creatively to find effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license. (Drivers abstract required for driving company vehicles).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $22.00-$34.00 per hour
