**CareCorp Senior Services are a trusted company who provide superior healthcare, food and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.**
**We are looking for a laundry aide to join our amazing kitchen team in one of our beautiful care facilities.**

**Previous experience working with the senior community is**_ preferred_** but not required.**

**Position details**:Temporary Full Time: Sin - Thurs (6:30am - 2:30pm)
**Compensation**:$22.58 (extended health benefits after probationary period)

**Responsibilities**
- Pick up of all soiled laundry from residents rooms.
- Sort, wash and fold laundry using approved methods, chemicals and protective equipment.
- Dry laundry using commercial dryers.
- Redistribute all personal laundry.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dryers and washing machines.
- Preform other duties as assigned.
- Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid WIMIS certificate.

**While the SSO is in place, you will be limited to working with only one employer and at only one (1) private long-term care hospital (facility), licensed long-term care facility, registered assisted living facility, stand-alone extended care hospital or provincial mental health facility. Unless regional clustering applies. **Regional clustering allows you to, within the same region and in agreement with the facility, hold a position as permanent with one (1) employer and hold a casual position with one (1) additional employer. You may hold only one (1) permanent position, one (1) additional casual position and must not work outside of your regional cluster.**

**The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination.
