**About the Role**:
**Precision AI** is looking for an experienced, accountable, and committed **Electrical/Electronics Technician **to join our team.

Collaborating with our Drone engineers, technical team, and key stakeholders you will support the development and deployment of our high-performance Drone Survey Systems.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the assembly, integration and testing of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle technology and payloads.
- Collaborate with the drone engineering team and key stakeholders on product design and development
- Oversee diagnostic testing and debugging procedures.
- Consult with internal technical leads to determine the scope of development projects.
- Respect project timelines and deadlines.
- Develop, review, update, modify and approve electrical design plans and work schedules.
- Liaise with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
- Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
- Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ensure a safe and positive work environment.
- Manage, expedite, and support consultants’ and contractor document submittals, budgets, and schedules.
- Assists with the development of new Engineering standards and maintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practices.
- Leads or assists with investigations of electrical-related issues, including root cause analysis as needed.
- Ensure that the electronic systems operate at peak performance.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of practical Electrical/Electronics technician experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to be part of a start-up/high-growth company
- Highly result oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of hardware aspects of spacecraft/satellite, UAV aircraft, robotics development experience and/or hobby drone systems
- Knowledge of soldering and assembling electronic components onto circuit boards as per work instructions
- Knowledge of control systems and aeronautics development methodologies
- Experience developing and assembling electrical components and systems such as wire harnesses, test cables, and aerospace connectors.
- High level of problem-solving skills including the desire to consider multiple perspectives and explore creative solutions
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to accurately estimate work effort for defined tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-driven and autonomous, with high attention to detail and a desire for excellence
- Strong organizational and time management skills

**TRAVEL**

This position does not require travel.

**POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK**

This is a 2-month temporary full-time contract position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Dependent on workload, hours may be somewhat flexible, and some late evenings and weekends may be required.

Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
